Hi! I’m Mary, the owner of Ladybugs Boutique! I'm also the wife to my amazing husband and mom to the most precious 5 year-old boy you’ll ever meet. Born and raised on the Gulf Coast, my little family of three enjoys the simple things in life: the beach, seafood, and family time. 

Ladybugs Boutique was born from my love of fashion and shopping and slight obsession with dressing my then infant boy. I inherited my shopping gene from my mother who loved to dress my siblings and me in children's classics and boutique clothing. When my son was a baby, I began consigning his clothes and then joined several buy, sell, trade groups on Facebook. One day in the midst of gathering clothes for a "mom purge", I heard God say, “Mary you can do this. You can sell baby clothes.” Just like that, in July 2018, Ladybugs Children's Boutique was born.  

The boutique's name pays homage to my late mother who was nicknamed, Ladybug, by my sister and me. When we launched in October 2018, we offered classic and whimsical children's styles that consisted of smocked and appliquéd clothing, seersucker and monogramming. In early 2022, we rebranded and relaunched the boutique adding apparel to the women collection and a mommy and me collection. The boutique adopted the slogan, "CLASSIC. CONTEMPORARY. STYLISH."  to reflect classic styles coupled with contemporary color palettes, prints and silhouettes in the boutique.
